The previous one was more than a decade ago, but now we have finally managed to bring another vessel to Norrköping for loading a cargo of sawn timber with destination United States East coast.

It is with sadness we have received the news that Tomas Hillermark, founder of Becoship AB and a for many years appreciated business partner, has fallen asleep after a brief illness at the age of 74 years.

The company MultiDocker, based in Norrköping, has now started also to assemble their machines locally in Norrköping. As the first machine left their site, Jönsson Novabolagen arranged the transport of the 40 ton heavy crane with final destination United States.

Rudolf Jönsson was one of three sons in a shipbroking family. To carry on the family tradition, he founded his company Rudolf Jönsson & Co in Norrköping in 1933. The next year he took on the chartering of the S/S Fagervik.

With shipbroking still being a core business to us, in the 85 years since, the range of services on offer has expanded and today Jönsson Novabolagen is a complete logistics company.

Now in December 2018 we look back at 85 years in a constantly changing world and market, and we look forward to many years to come. With a skilled and dedicated crew within all logistical areas, regardless sea or land solutions, our ambition and focus is to continue to develop and improve ourselves together with our customers.

We welcome Andreas Levin to Jönsson Novabolagen. He will mainly work with the agency but gradually also join the forwarding department. Andreas comes from a local company and has good experience from agency work in both Norrköping and other ports.

After 10 years of good and loyal service to Jönsson Nova, our workhorse MV "Antonia B" has now changed hands. We want to express our thanks to the ship and it's crew for good cooperation over the years!

Last week 12 year old Lukas from Rejmyre helped us in Jönsson Novabolagen within his school's work experience programme. During three days he learnt both office work and loading of wire rods. On a tour to Pampus Terminal he also experienced handling of sawn timber and paper and watched the discharge of a container vessel.
